ABOUT
History
PelHeat Ltd is a family owned company, operating from Lask
Edge Farm in the Staffordshire Moorlands, England. The two
directors of the company are father and son, Robert and
Christopher Scott. In 2006 we started to look into renewable
ways to heat our home at Lask Edge Farm. We became very interested in the
use of biomass as a heating fuel. With further research, it
became apparent that upgrading biomass into pellets was the
most convenient solution.
We believe in the principle of affordable small scale pellet
production, however the pellet market is dominated by
expensive large scale production solutions. Therefore we
decided to develop our ideas of small scale pellet production units,
in stationary and mobile form. This eventually developed
into PelHeat.
Objectives
1. To provide affordable small scale mobile and stationary
pellet production units
2. To promote the use of all biomass, including energy crops
and waste biomass
3. To provide education on the advantages of biomass and
pellets
