Large Static Pellet Plants up to 700Kg/h We also promote larger scale pellet plants, up to 700Kg per hour. These set-ups include all the necessary processes for pellet production, include particle size reduction, drying, pellet compression, cooling with fines removal and even semi-automated bagging systems. Particle Size Reduction and Drying Depending on size and diameter of the raw biomass material, it will dictate which size reduction equipment is required. The X Series line of industrial Wood Chippers and Hammer Mills are be available, including the combined Chipper and Hammer Mill Solution shown in the picture below. Once the necessary size reduction has taken place, a rotary valve will drop the particles in to an auger leading in to GJ Series Rotary Dryer to remove sufficient moisture. |

Raw Material Conditioning and Pellet Compression Once the required amount of moisture has been removed, the particles are now ready for pellet compression. The material leaves the GJ Series Rotary Dryer and through the cyclone separator into the mixer, which will give the raw material a good consistency. A vertical auger then takes the raw material up to the conditioner which will feed the pellet mill, both the vertical auger and conditioner are variable speed. Depending on the required productivity, a single or double set-up of ZLP 400 pellet mills are used, producing up to 700Kg/h. Pellet Cooling With Fines Removal The pellets are then sent through a cooler and grade sieve, this cools the pellets and at the same time removes dust and under sized pellets, a dust bag filter is also included. |

Semi-Automated Pellet Bagging System Now the pellets are ready for packaging, it is important to protect the pellets from moisture as they will absorb moisture and disintegrate. A semi-automated pellet bagging system is included in the large scale plant. The pellets are carried from the cooler via bucket elevator up to the storage container, with a level indicator. The bagging system can meter out a set weight of pellets from the storage container above. The scope is from 5-25Kg per bag, the bags are then sealed and then a conveyor moves the bag off, to be placed on a palate for the customer.
