What’s The Cheapest Coyote Pellet Grill?
Currently, the cheapest Coyote pellet grill is their 28″ wide built-in pellet grill for outdoor kitchens which is retailing for just under $2,500. This makes the 28″ Coyote pellet grill the cheapest full-stainless built-in pellet grill/smoker currently on the market.
What’s The Most Expensive Coyote Pellet Grill?
The most expensive Coyote pellet grill is their 36″ wide freestanding pellet grill retailing for just under $3,800. While that is a lot of money for many people to spend on a grill (myself included) for a full-stainless steel grill of this size its actually a pretty good deal.

Which Coyote Pellet Grill Get’s The Hottest?
The 36″ freestanding/built-in models in the Coyote pellet grill range actually have a slightly higher maximum temperature setting of 700 degrees compared to the 28″ models which only go up to 650 degrees. I state ‘only’ in the context that the 36″ models do get to a higher temperature. However, it should be noted that even 650 degrees will meet most peoples needs and is higher than most pellet grills in general.
What’s The Warranty On Coyote Pellet Grills?
Coyote provides a limited ‘lifetime’ warranty on the external stainless steel of their pellet grills and a 5-year limited warranty on the internal stainless steel frame. When it comes to all the internal components they come with a 3-year limited warranty.
Where Are Coyote Pellet Grills Made?
Its appear that Coyote is designing/engineering their pellet grills in the USA, however, they are manufactured overseas. I’m not sure where manufacturing is currently taking place, but its likely China.
Does Coyote Produce Portable Pellet Grills?
No, Coyote does not currently produce a portable pellet grill, their range is focused on their two large 28″ and 36″ freestanding and built-in models.
Does Coyote Produce Vertical Pellet Smokers?
No, Coyote is currently focused on horizontal pellet grill/smokers. I’ve not seen any indications that they are looking to produce a vertical pellet smoker.
Does Coyote Produce Built-In Pellet Grills/Smokers?
Yes, built-in pellet grills for outdoor kitchens is a key target market for Coyote offering either a 28″ built-in pellet grill or a 36″ built-in pellet grill. As discussed above, besides the larger size of the 36″ model it also offers a higher maximum temperature setting of 700 degrees.
Does Coyote Produce Pellet/Gas Combo Pellet Grills?
No, Coyote currently purely offers dedicated pellet grills and no pellet/gas combo pellet grills. However, as Coyote pellet grills offer maximum temperature settings of 650 and 700 degrees the high heat of a gas burner is not really necessary.
Does Coyote Produce Stainless Steel Pellet Grills/Smokers?
Yes, Coyote purely offers full-stainless steel pellet grills as either freestanding or built-in models. Furthermore, all Coyote pellet grills use 304-grade stainless steel which is the highest grade found on domestic/residential pellet grills.
Does Coyote Produce Twin-Wall Insulated Pellet Grills/Smokers?
Yes, all of the models in the Coyote pellet grill range feature double-wall construction which helps to keep the heat in and the cold out. Therefore this not only provides more stable internal temperatures but also reduced pellet consumption compared to pellet grills made from a single wall of steel.
Do Coyote Pellet Grills Come With WiFi/App Support?
No, currently none of the Coyote pellet grills comes with WiFi/App support which, to be honest, is a really bizarre omission for one of the newest premium/luxury pellet grills to hit the market. I, therefore, predict that sooner rather than later Coyote is going to pick up on this error of judgement and offer WiFi/App support. I also hope they offer a new WiFi supported control panel as a retrofit option for previous customers.
Do Coyote Pellet Grills Come With PID Control Panels?
Yes, despite not featuring WiFi all the control panels fitted to Coyote pellet grills are controlling temperature based on a PID algorithm. In other words, the internal temperature of the pellet grill is constantly being compared by the control panel to the set temperature. Small adjustments are then constantly made to the pellet auger feed rate and the fan speed to maintain the temperature within 5-degrees of the set temperature.
Do Coyote Pellet Grills Offer Direct-Flame Access?
Yes, the direct-flame access feature/functionality on Coyote pellet grills is almost identical to that of their closest competition from Memphis Grills. Under the central grate, there is a removable panel within the grease tray. This solid panel can be removed and replaced with an insert with holes to let the flames from the pellet fire reach the upper cooking grate for higher grilling/searing temperatures.
Do Coyote Pellet Grills Offer Easy Ash Clean Out?
Most of the ash will end up in the grease/ash collector trays in the base of the Coyote pellet grills. However, on a semi-regular basis, it will be a good idea to take out the cooking grates, remove the grease tray and heat deflector to get to the pellet burn pot with a shop vac to clean out ash build up once the grill is cool.
Do Coyote Pellet Grills Come With A Hopper Pellet Dump?
No, to remove pellets from the hopper of a Coyote pellet grill to change flavours or for proper long-term storage, you will need to use a scoop/cup to get the pellets out. Remember, to properly store pellets and to protect them from moisture they should be kept in a sealed plastic bag/container.
