The Victory 35″ pellet grill from BBQGuys is not the most sophisticated pellet grill on the market. For instance, it lacks PID temperature control or WiFi/App functionality.

However, what it does offer is a very large cooking area for both grilling and smoking foods. With 691 sq.in on the main grate, and 936 sq.in overall.

It also offers a large 29 lb pellet hopper, so overnight ‘low and slow’ smoking sessions will not be a problem.

At its current price for the Black Friday sale, its price has been reduced by 51% to just $389, down from $799. Hence, its one of the largest discounts on a pellet grill you’ll come across.

2. Camp Chef MZGX24 – 40% OFF

The Camp Chef MZGX24 is part of the budget range of Camp Chef pellet grills/smokers. However, it actually has several premium features.

For instance, it has direct-flame access for great grilling performance, and it also has PID temperature control and WiFi/App functionality.

Furthermore, this MZGX24 could also be upgraded at some point in the future with the Camp Ched SideKick, which is a propane attachment that provides even more functionality.

Currently, Amazon is selling the MZGX24 with 40% off, reducing its price down to just $481!

3. KingChii Portable Pellet Grill – 40% OFF

Now, KingChii is not exactly a well-known pellet grill brand, in fact, this is currently the only pellet grill with the KingChii branding.

However, the notable thing about this pellet is the price, at 40% off, its currently just $239! Hence, its worth looking at for anyone who is looking to dip their top into the world of pellet grills.

Now, anyone who has browsed the Traeger range may notice that the construction of this KingChii pellet grill is very similar to the Traeger Tailgater.

However, please note the control panel on this KingChii pellet grill is not as sophisticated, and there will be wider temperature swings. But then again, this KingChii is literally half the price this Black Friday.

4. Cuisinart CPG-256 – 39% OFF

Here, we have what’s known as a tabletop pellet grill. Hence, this category of pellet grills/smokers is the smallest/lightest means to cook with BBQ pellets.

The Cuisinart CPG-256 is a pretty typical example of most tabletop pellet grills on the market, and currently, for this Black Friday sale, it can be found with a 39% discount down to $215.

Granted, this ultra-compact pellet grill/smoker is going to struggle to produce enough BBQ for more than just a couple. But if that’s you, then a pellet grill for just over $200 is hard to ignore.

5. Z Grill 7002E – 26% OFF

The 7002E was one of the main models that established the Z Grills brand as offering a pellet grill at great value for the size of the cooking area provided to the price requested.

While it does not offer the functionality of the latest Z Grills models, hence it lacks PID temperature control and WiFi support, its a solid option for a first-time pellet grill owner.

I checked the Z Grills website, which has the 7002E at 17% off and a price down to $499. However, the best deal I found was at Lowes, where its 26% and priced down to just $399.

6. Camp Chef Woodwind 24″ – 25% OFF

The Woodwind range from Camp Chef has been one of their best-selling models for many years, with the 24″ model well suited to the needs of small families.

There is now an updated version of the Camp Chef Woodwind with a stainless steel cooking chamber. Hence, this previous version is now on sale with 25% off at just $674.

The Camp Chef Woodwind 24″ offers direct-flame access for good searing/grilling performance. Its also compatible with the Camp Chef propane SideKick, which can provide a lot of extra utility.

The Woodwind 24″ also features a full-color control panel with PID temperature control technology and WiFi/App support. Its an excellent mid-range pellet grill/smoker option.

If you’re looking for a full-sized backyard pellet grill that can meet the needs of a medium to large group of friends and family, you cannot do much better than the recteq RT-700.

The RT-700 offers a stainless steel cooking chamber, a massive 40 lb hopper, accurate PID temperature control, WiFi/App support, and excellent grilling capabilities up to 700 degrees.

For its features and size, the RT-700 was always keenly priced. However, for this Black Friday sale recteq has knocked 25% off the RT-700 and has dropped the price to just $899.

The Weber SmokeFire EX6 is the larger of the two SmokeFire models and features a durable enameled finish, which Weber BBQs are well known for.

When it comes to grilling/searing capabilities, the EX6 is one of the best pellet grills on the market, and currently, in the Black Friday sale, its 23% off and priced at $999.

The SmokeFire EX6 features insulated sidewalls for better heat retention, PID temperature control with 5-degree accuracy, and also WiFi/App functionality.

When it comes to smoking meat, however, with any Weber SmokeFire pellet BBQ, I would strongly encourage the use of a drip pan to collect the dripping fat for reasons I’ve previously discussed.

9. Z Grills Multitasker 7052B – 22% OFF

While Z Grills is predominantly a budget pellet grill/smoker brand, in recent years, they have started to offer more premium models with PID temperature accuracy and Wi-Fi functionality.

This Multitasker 7052B is such an example, and it also offers an insulated cooking chamber which not only produces better BBQ but will save you money on BBQ pellets as well.

Now, I did check the Z Grills website, and there, the Multitasker 7052B is indeed on sale with 13% off. However, the best deal I found was from Home Depot with 22% off down to $899.

10. Grilla Grills Silverbac WiFi – 21% OFF

I’ve been singing the praises of Grilla Grill pellet grills and smokers for many years to this point. Well, currently, the Silverbac is 21% off, down to $719.

The Silverbac is their best-selling model as it fulfills the needs of most family and friend BBQ events, and it offers good temperature control with their PID technology.

As well as WiFi/App support, the Grilla Grills Silverbac has something that is missing, even from some premium pellet grills, dual-wall insulated construction.

The benefit of dual wall construction, especially around this time of year and smoking a Thanksgiving turkey, is more stable and consistent internal temperatures within the cooking chamber.

11. Grilla Grills Chimp WiFi – 21% OFF

When it comes to portable pellet grills, I believe the Grilla Grills Chimp to currently be one of if not the best options on the market, and its currently 21% off at $479.

It would be a bit odd not to have at least one Traeger on this list, but currently, there aren’t that many deals available. However, there is one notable offer on the Pro Series 22.

I’ve found the Traeger Pro Series 22 with a 17% discount down to $499 from $599. In terms of size, the Pro Series 22 is a relatively small pellet grill, suitable for a small family/group of friends.

Now, a couple of things to note, this Pro Series 22 does not feature the PID temperature control or WiFi (WiFire) functionality of the latest Traeger Pro Series models.

However, the Pro Series 22 is not a bad option for those looking for their first pellet grill under $500 and for those who want to own a Traeger-branded product.

The SmokeFire EX4 is the smaller of the two Weber pellet grills. However, it offers a suitable grilling area to meet the needs of most small families.

In my articles on the Weber SmokeFire, I have stated that when it comes to smoking meats, they do need more frequent cleaning than several other pellet smokers.

However, when it comes to grilling steaks and burgers etc, this SmokeFire EX4 is an excellent option due to its direct-flame access and fast warm-up time.
